Short description:

In the face of an unprecedented tailwind of rapid technological, economic, environmental, and societal changes, the European health industry requires a trained, talented, and committed workforce to meet these challenges head-on. Workers employed by medtech, medical equipment, biotechnology and digital health companies must have the technical proficiency, environmental acumen, and the strategic and leadership vision to thrive in the post-COVID health industry ecosystem as the green and digital transition gathers pace. Looking to the future, a skilled, competent, workforce is essential to guarantee the sustainable competitiveness, regulatory compliance and strategic autonomy of Europe’s health industrial ecosystem.

BRIGHTskills is a 4-year Erasmus+ funded project aimed at reskilling and upskilling the health industry workforce. Through a multi-stakeholder and cross-border approach, the project drives innovation and transformation in the European health industry by developing sector-specific curricula and training programmes. These programmes will address the emerging needs of diverse learner profiles, including students, recent graduates, and current industry professionals. The project is meant to establish a Blueprint Alliance for Alliance and support the long-term commitment made by the members of the Large-Scale Skills Partnership for the European Health Industry under the Pact for Skills.

Our Role in BRIGHTskills:

Wise Angle has been tasked by EIT Health with the role of grant writing supporting the consortium in the preparation of the proposal. Within the project, we take the lead in the project’s communication and dissemination efforts. We will design and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure the success of these activities. This strategy will promote public consultations and support the design and implementation of the health industry skills strategy, attract and engage stakeholders, particularly for the piloting of the training curricula, and amplify messages to reach diverse target audiences and raise awareness about the project’s results and impact.
